Paebody Museum of Natural History: The Yale Peabody Museum was founded in 1866 with a gift from philanthropist George Peabody, at the urging of his nephew, Yale’s O.C. Marsh, the first professor of paleontology in North America and the Museum’s first director. Marsh built many of the Peabody’s great collections, and today you can see some of his most famous finds — the dinosaurs he named Triceratops, Stegosaurus and “Brontosaurus” — in the Museum’s Great Hall.

West Rock Ridge State Park: Rising up to 627 feet above mean sea level, West Rock Ridge is one of the most prominent features of the New Haven region. West Rock affords the visitor a spectacular view; it is estimated that one can see approximately 200 square miles from various locations on the ridge with excellent views of New Haven Harbor and Long Island Sound.

Center Church: While the Crypt may be the most famous aspect of Center Church's building, they are also blessed with a wide array of beautiful architectural accents, including a Waterford crystal chandelier, a Fisk Pipe Organ, Tiffany stained glass windows, and an impressive collection of silver items.
